MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS completes the Aurora Central High School Classroom Addition and HVAC Upgrades for Aurora Public Schools

This 11,000 SF addition to the existing high school added two science labs, science preparation room, science classroom, tee general classrooms, group learning room, office areas, multi-purpose room as well as additional men's and women's restroom.

As with most school projects the school remained fully operational during the addition of this project, close coordination was need with Aurora Public Schools. MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS has constructed many school additions and remodels for Aurora Public Schools. Christiansen Reece Architect, out of Colorado Springs was the design professional for the project.

MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS completed the Community Support Center for WCC in December of 2009

The Community Support Center is an irreplaceable asset to the community providing support, counsel, education, social services, intervention, advocacy and healing for over 15,000 (or more) victims of trauma and domestic abuse to Lincoln, Elbert and Douglas Counties each year.

The facility is a 7,800 SF wood-framed structure with a residential three story guise. The interior of the building consists of living space for 28 clients as well as staff, administrative offices, therapy rooms, and a full service kitchen. The exterior features include enclosed porches, stone veneer, dormers and architectural woodwork.

MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS completes project for Denver Health and Hospital Authority

MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS recently completed the Delaware Parking Project for Denver Health and Hospital Authority. The project consisted of the demolition of ten older single family residences, capping of associated utilities and the construction of two new parking lots, including a precast concrete fence and associated landscaping.

The project posed challenges due to the late start in late fall, poor soils conditions and the desperate needs of Denver Health and Hospital Authority to get the added parking. Asphalt paving was completed in early January of this year.

MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS completes Grand Lake Golf Course Clubhouse Remodel

MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS recently completed the remodel of the Grand Lake Metropolitan Recreation District Golf Course Clubhouse in Grand Lake.

The project consisted of three separate areas of the building receiving a roof structure removal and new roof structure installation. One of those created an entry way for the golf course, another was a significant upgrade to the Pro Shop and the third, the most dramatic of the three, raised the existing one story room of the Sly Fox Restaurant to a large picture window view of the Never Summer Range.

Additionally, this complex structure that had undergone a number of remodels and additions in the past had significant interior upgrades to the Locker Room, Pro Shop, Retail Sales area, Restaurant and complete refurbishment of the restrooms.

The facility also added cooling, an additional heating unit, new floor coverings throughout and new wall finishes. The facility stayed partially occupied during the entire construction.
